Pastor Rocky Bezet has a vision for this generation and has a strong conviction to inspire and encourage people in these times.
He believes that by an uncompromised word mixed with the faith of the hearer, will provide the victories that men and women need to overcome the challenges in life.
Pastor Rocky is passionate about his approach to lead people into a commitment of faith that will compel others to “follow me” as I follow Christ. These words given to Pastor Rocky during a trip to Israel as he stood on top of Mount Arbel at sunrise one January morning. His vision is to advance the Kingdom of God, and establish unity within the Body of Christ by the Truth of the Gospel that will provide health, wealth, protection, and victory to every believer.
Pastor Bezet is the Senior Pastor of The Rock Church and World Ministries in Zachary Louisiana which is located in the northern part of East Baton Rouge Parish. The Rock Church was originally called Cornerstone Church and was founded by Dr. Richard Ledford who also pastored the church from 1991 until 1997 when Dr. Ledford followed the Holy Spirit’s challenge to start another work in Ohio, and currently is the Pastor of Restoration Place in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pastor Rocky remains under the presbytery leadership of Dr. Ledford, and he continues to bring forth the vision to The Rock Church. The Rock Church continues to provide ministry to every individual regardless of age, race, or religious background holding to the belief that the love and compassion of Jesus and the skillful application of His Word can and will change a city and a nation! The Rock Church has outreach ministries on the local and international level through missions support and giving.
Pastor Bezet has obtained a Master of Theology degree from Life Christian University, and accomplished his Greek Studies at Louisiana State University Masters Program, along with his Degree in Ministry with Greek from Ministers Training Institute in Baton Rouge. Currently, Pastor Bezet resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife, Jodi and their three children, Lauren, Lance, and Kassidy.
